‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ among LIFF semi-finalists

Iran’s animated short film ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ has been named among the semi-finalists at the Love International Film Festival in the US.

According to the LIFF’s website, ‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ is competing with four other films for the Best Animation Short.

Directed by Mahdieh-Sadat Ahmadi-Soleimani, the film is about a girl who is involved in the problems of her time and at the end she surrenders to the birds, which she has painted.

‘I’m not Alice but here is Wonderland’ was named among the silver winners of the Best Short – Animation at the 3rd quarter of the 2020 Queen Palm International Film Festival in the US.

The Love International Film Festival features films, which inspire feelings of peace, love, acceptance, and tolerance towards children and families.

The LIFF will announce the finalists on September 16, while the winners will be announced on September 20.
